Customizing Your Dashboard Layout

About the Layout Editor

Your public dashboard page is made up of widgets that you can move, resize, add, and remove to build the page you want your community to see. Each dashboard has its own layout.

Opening the Layout Editor

Go to Dashboards, click "Edit" on a dashboard, then click the "Edit Layout" button at the top of the page.

Available Widgets

  • Subscriber Count: Your current subscriber total for this dashboard.
  • Progress to Goal: A progress bar for your next goal, with how many subs are left to go.
  • Goals List: Every goal with its status, including the ones you've already achieved.
  • Achieved Summary: How many of your goals have been achieved.

Using the Editor

Move Widgets

Click and drag a widget to a new position on the grid.

Resize Widgets

Drag the edges or corners of a widget to make it larger or smaller. The grid is 12 columns wide, so a width of 12 spans the full page and 6 takes up half of it. Widgets can't be made smaller than 3 columns wide and 2 rows tall.

Remove Widgets

Click the "X" in the corner of a widget to take it off your dashboard.

Add Widgets Back

Click a widget in the "Widgets" palette on the left to add it to the grid. Each widget can only be on the grid once, so widgets already in use are highlighted in the palette.

Save Your Layout

Click "Save Layout" when you're done. Your changes are not saved automatically, so be sure to save before leaving the page.

Resetting to the Default

Click "Reset to Default" to put the widgets back in the default arrangement. This only changes what you see in the editor, so you still need to click "Save Layout" to keep it.

Good to Know

  • The layout is what your viewers see on your public dashboard page. It doesn't change the OBS overlay, which has its own customization options.
  • Viewers can't move or resize widgets. They see the layout exactly as you saved it.
  • The layout editor works best on a desktop or laptop. Dragging and resizing can be difficult on a phone.
  • You can only save a layout on a dashboard you're able to edit. Read-only dashboards on the free plan can't be changed.
