Managing Your Goals

Adding, Editing, and Deleting Goals

Goals are managed in the "Goals" section of your dashboard's edit page.

Add a Goal

Click "Add Goal" and fill out:

  • Goal Title: What viewers are working towards (e.g., "Karaoke stream").
  • Description: Optional extra details.
  • Subscriber Target: The dashboard subscriber count needed to reach this goal.
Edit a Goal

Click the pencil icon next to a goal to change its title, description, or target.

Delete a Goal

Click the trash icon next to a goal and confirm. Deleting a goal is permanent.

Goal Order

You don't need to put goals in order yourself. Goals are always sorted automatically from the smallest subscriber target to the largest, and this order is updated whenever you add, edit, or delete a goal.

Achieved vs. Completed

Each goal has two separate statuses, which can be confusing at first:

Achieved (automatic)

A goal becomes Achieved as soon as your dashboard's subscriber count reaches its target. The date and time it was reached is recorded and shown on your public dashboard. If you add a goal whose target has already been reached, it's marked as achieved right away.

Once achieved, a goal stays achieved even if your subscriber count later drops, so your community keeps credit for milestones they've reached.

Completed (manual)

Use Completed to track whether you've followed through on the goal, such as finishing the karaoke stream. Click the check mark next to a goal to mark it completed, or the circular arrow to undo it. This is for your own tracking and for your viewers to see, and it doesn't affect your subscriber count or progress.

Un-achieving a Goal

If a goal was marked achieved by mistake, click "Un-achieve" next to it. Keep in mind that goals are re-checked against your subscriber count whenever your dashboard or overlay is viewed, so a goal will only stay un-achieved if your count is below its target. If a goal keeps re-achieving, check its target, or review your subscriber count settings.

How Progress is Shown

  • The next goal is the lowest goal that hasn't been achieved yet.
  • The progress bar shows your dashboard's total subscriber count against that goal's target. For example, 40 subs towards a 100-sub goal is 40%, regardless of the previous goal's target.
  • When every goal is achieved, the dashboard shows "All goals achieved!"
  • Achieved goals appear with a green check and the date reached, and the current goal is highlighted in the goals list.

Who Can Manage Goals?

  • Dashboard owners, including free accounts, for their editable dashboard.
  • Moderators who have been given access by a Pro owner. See How to Grant Access to Moderators.
  • If you're on the free plan with more than one dashboard, only your most recently updated one is editable. The others are read-only until you upgrade. See What Happens When I Downgrade.
